Bees: Incredible Animals

Bees are wonderful insects! They are small and often fly around flowers. There are lots of kinds of bees, but honeybees and bumblebees are the most common.

Bees live together in big groups called colonies. In a colony, there is a queen bee who lays eggs. Other bees in the colony have different jobs. Some bees collect nectar from flowers and make honey. Others look after eggs and baby bees. Some bees protect the hive from danger.

Bees help flowers grow by pollinating them. When bees collect nectar, they also get pollen on their bodies. When they visit more flowers, they help plants make seeds and fruits.

Bees are very good at working together. They talk to each other by dancing and releasing special scents.

But bees have some problems now. Pollution, pesticides, and losing their homes are making life hard for them.

We need to help bees by taking care of the environment. When we help bees, we help plants and our planet too!

Remember, bees are super important!
